Organizations

If you lead or belong to any organization that conducts research on or related to software business, or any organization you feel has particular expertise or experience that offers value to people working in software business, please tell us about this organization. The following types of organizations are especially asked to contribute:

  • Academic. Laboratories, research groups, or academic departments that are conducting research in or related to software business (see our statement of scope). Please do not post whole universities, but rather only units within the university that are heavily involved in software business.
  • Industrial research. Industrial research laboratories that are conducting research in or related to software business (see our statement of scope). If the laboratory is in a company conducting software business, please post both the company and the research laboratory separately.
  • Commercial. Companies conducting business in or relevant to software, or who are major users of software products and services.

Note that professional societies and publication outlets are organizations too, but have separate neighborhoods in the community.

How to post a(n) organization

This is easy. Just create a(n) organization page that briefly describes your posting and provides a web link to it. Please do not upload any files pertaining to organization to this site.
